Coal : jet black rough sedimentary rock.
Formed as rock strata called coal seams.
This piece is my interpretation of coal seams, rock, rough and without uniformity. 
 
The Black Collection uses varying styles of texture to take artwork to the next level.
Colour is not required here.  Black is bold and classy. 
 
The artwork in this collection redefines what many think of when they think about art. Each piece has one singular colour and textural variety.
 
The sides of Coal are painted black so framing is not necessary unless preferred.
The painting is varnished to protect the artwork for years to come.
